Prominent White Collar Defense Litigator John Hundley Joins Ballard Spahr in Washington, D.C.

John F. Hundley—a noted criminal and civil litigator who focuses on white collar defense—has joined Ballard Spahr in the firm's Washington, D.C. office, firm Chair Mark Stewart announced today.

With more than 25 years of experience, Mr. Hundley has handled cases involving money laundering, mail and wire fraud, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, antitrust violations, bribery and public corruption, and tax evasion. He also is regularly called upon to lead internal corporate investigations.

Mr. Hundley is known for his involvement in the representation of several high-profile clients including Monica Lewinsky, former FBI agent Robert Hanssen, and former legislative communications director Michael Scanlon. He has litigated cases across the country and maintains high-level security clearances, including Top Secret SCI.

Joining Mr. Hundley in the firm's Washington, D.C., office is Christopher A. Hatfield, an associate with experience in white collar defense, internal investigations, government investigations, and civil litigation.

The Group includes former state and federal prosecutors from jurisdictions throughout the United States.
