Pennsylvania Employers May See Big Changes to Overtime Exemptions
SHRM reached out to Shannon Farmer of Ballard Spahr’s Labor and Employment Group for an article on Pennsylvania employers, who will have to comply with new overtime rules if proposed changes to the white-collar exemptions are finalized.
"Employers in Pennsylvania can't just assume that the state follows federal law and that they don't have any further obligations under state law," Mr. Farmer said. "Employers need to look at both."
