CFPB's CU Group Will Shrink in Membership, Number of Meetings

Credit Union Times spoke with Ballard Spahr’s Alan Kaplinsky, leader of the firm’s Consumer Financial Services Group, about the move by the CFPB to post a charter calling for a smaller group of credit union employees to be appointed to its credit union advisory council than have been in the past. This could be a sign that the CFPB could be preparing to reorganize the group.
