High Court Nominee Seen as Mostly Employer-Friendly Vote

Business Insurance quoted Brian Pedrow—who leads Ballard Spahr’s Labor and Employment Group—in an article about U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and the impact a confirmation would have on the employment landscape.
Citing Judge Kavanaugh's opinion in Magloire K. Placide Ayissi-Etoh v. Fannie Mae et al.—in which he held that a single instance of being called a racial epithet might be sufficient to establish a hostile work environment—Mr. Pedrow said there is no guarantee that a Justice Kavanaugh would be pro-employer.
