Utah Bankers Association: Fall Compliance Conference

Adam Maarec and Joseph J. Schuster, both members of Ballard Spahr's Consumer Financial Services Group, will speak at the Utah Bankers Association's 2026 Fall Compliance Conference.

Adam will lead a breakout session about "Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP)" on Wednesday, October 21, from 1:35 to 2:35 p.m. Joseph will lead the discussion "Stablecoins in the Real World: A Practical Guide for Bank Compliance Teams" from 9:40 to 10:25 a.m. on Thursday, October 22. Adam and Joseph will both present "Tactical Communication in the Exam Room" from 11:40 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. on Thursday, October 22.

The UBA Fall Compliance Conference offers bank compliance officers, auditors, in-house and outside counsel, or anyone involved in bank compliance up-to-date information on compliance issues and proven techniques for maintaining an in-bank compliance program. Most importantly, it offers a forum to discuss current issues and exchange ideas with peers.
