Antitrust Direct Actions: To Opt Out or Not to Opt Out
Share
Please join us for a program exploring whether to pursue an antitrust direct action as a plaintiff, individually or in a group, as opposed to being a member of a putative class. Based on the panel’s experience, including in the recent Liquid Aluminum Sulfate Antitrust Litigation, we will discuss topics such as whether plaintiffs with substantial antitrust claims are better able to pursue their claims and protect their interests by proceeding with counsel of their own choosing, asserting the nature and scope of their claims as they deem appropriate, and controlling settlement decisions.
