While deposit account fraud can happen at any time, it is particularly likely to occur during times of economic stress. COVID-19 scams targeting deposit accounts are already running rampant; deposit litigation in response to these scams is certain to increase in the coming months. This webinar will provide an overview of the COVID-19 scams targeting deposit accounts and offer proactive ways financial institutions can help their customers avoid these scams. This webinar will also address the anticipated rise in employee deposit fraud, and ways that financial institutions can use their platforms and existing products to assist their customers to guard themselves against deposit fraud.
