The California Attorney General’s Office recently proposed California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) regulations. The long-awaited Regulations provide businesses with important guidance for posting privacy notices, providing opt-out rights, and responding to and verifying consumer requests – but do not address a number of ambiguous provisions, such as what a “sale” means under the law.

In this webinar, Ballard Spahr Privacy and Data Security attorneys will discuss how businesses can use the CCPA proposed Regulations to operationalize their compliance programs and manage the uncertainty under the California Consumer Privacy Act as well as the Regulations' open questions.
