Ballard Spahr Partner John L. Culhane, Jr., is among the 1 percent of National Law Review contributors whom the publication has recognized with a 2019 Go-To Thought Leadership Award.

Mr. Culhane, whose practice focuses on innovative loan, leasing, and payment programs with an emphasis on education finance, is a frequent contributor to the National Law Review on developments in consumer financial services law. All told, just 75 authors received a Go-To Thought Leadership Award for 2019.

Last year, Partner Alan S. Kaplinsky received the Go-To Thought Leadership Award in Consumer Finance for his work on Ballard Spahr’s Consumer Finance Monitor blog.

The 120 attorneys in Ballard Spahr’s nationally recognized Consumer Financial Services Group, which Mr. Kaplinsky leads and of which Mr. Culhane is a member, advise on regulatory matters, assist in the design and documentation of credit products, and represent clients in class actions, government regulatory enforcement proceedings, and other lawsuits nationwide.
