William Xiong is an associate in the Finance Department, focusing his practice on commercial real estate finance matters. He has experience representing an array of market participants and financial institutions in the acquisition, disposition, and mortgage and mezzanine financing of commercial real estate, including balance-sheet and CMBS loan originations. Before joining the firm, William practiced at a global financial law firm in New York.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, William has provided pro bono counsel to small businesses seeking relief under their leases. In law school, William worked with with local attorneys in connection with the Penn Housing Rights Project to support low-income individuals in landlord-tenant matters.
