Wesley Stevenson is a member of the firm's Litigation Department, focusing on issues related to the environment and natural resources. Wes represents clients in environmental litigation, assists clients with issues of environmental compliance, and advises on and advocates for preferred regulatory outcomes. Wes has experience representing businesses in complex environmental litigation—including cost recovery and contribution actions under CERCLA—and has served as common counsel for potentially responsible parties undertaking remedial activities supervised by federal and state authorities.

Wes advises industry actors in compliance and enforcement matters involving a variety of different environmental media, with a particular focus on air. Wes also handles environmental aspects of real estate acquisitions and regularly provides analysis of current and proposed environmental regulations.

Pro Bono Experience

Wes maintains an active pro bono practice, regularly representing individuals with obtaining legal name changes to match their gender identity. Wes also assists former juvenile lifers in their efforts to obtain permanent relief from the restrictions of lifetime parole.
