Bruce F. Johnson

Bruce F. Johnson focuses his practice on real estate and commercial finance and investment transactions, and on the development and financing of energy generation and transmission projects.

As a significant component of his practice, Bruce represents industrial property owners in portfolio acquisitions and dispositions, development and leasing matters, including the development of industrial projects through participating ground leases with governmental entities and private parties. He also represents industrial property landlords with property management and financing issues.


Representative Matters

  • Served as counsel to the developer of a 104 MW utility scale solar project in Utah in connection with real estate and development matters and with a $157 million project financing and tax equity investment
  • Served as counsel to a Fortune 500 solar developer with respect to state tax law issues in connection with a 6.4 MW commercial rooftop solar project
  • Served as counsel to an energy project developer in connection with its repricing, resizing and modification of a portfolio of project debt secured by solar, wind and natural gas fired energy generation projects, in preparation for contribution of the projects to a publicly traded YieldCo
