Experience 

Representative Matters

  • Represented the permanent take-out lender for the multifamily portion of a $110 million restoration of a 32-acre historic landmark property in the Washington, D.C., suburbs; the multifamily portion was structured for affordability and included a transitional shelter for homeless men
  • Engaged by a national lender to standardize its construction loan documents and closing procedures for a CMBS take-out execution
  • Represented a government-sponsored enterprise in structuring and documenting a warehouse loan facility to be offered by a third-party financier to its program lenders

Jim speaks frequently on the use of technology and data standards in real estate financing. He presented a white paper on e-mortgage technologies and a position paper on e-signatures in commercial finance at recent conferences of the Mortgage Bankers Association.
