Three From Ballard Spahr Receive ConnectCRE 2023 'Lawyers in Real Estate' Awards

Three partners in Ballard Spahr’s Real Estate Department have received the 2023 Lawyers in Real Estate Award from ConnectCRE commercial real estate news service.

ConnectCRE recognizes Tina R. Makoulian in the National category, Amy M. McClain in the Washington, D.C., regional category, and Michael J. Ostermeyer in the Phoenix/Southwest regional category.

With the Lawyers in Real Estate Awards, ConnectCRE spotlights attorneys across the country based on the impact they’ve made through their practice in commercial real estate, as well as their contributions to the commercial real estate industry and community.

Based in Philadelphia, Ms. Makoulian provides strategic guidance and practical solutions in representing owners, operators, investors, and developers of all property types in complex real estate transactions and development throughout the country.

Ms. McClain serves as Chair of Ballard Spahr’s national, multifaceted Real Estate Department. Based in Baltimore, she focuses on advising on affordable housing development transactions involving a mix of funding sources.

Mr. Ostermeyer, based in Phoenix, provides seasoned counsel and advocacy on development projects and transactions and advises on commercial real estate portfolio management nationwide.
