Nevada Supreme Court Protects Phone, Computers of Slain Reporter

More than a dozen Ballard Spahr lawyers, led by Ashley Kissinger, have contributed to our representation of the Las Vegas Review-Journal in the aftermath of the tragic murder of investigative reporter Jeff German. The latest ruling prevents law enforcement officials from searching Mr. German's electronic devices, which may contain information about his confidential sources, including any who may have worked for the police department or the district attorney’s office.
