BTI selects its Client Service All-Stars based on more than 350 interviews and unprompted feedback from law firm clients at organizations with $700 million or more in revenue. Mr. Baron, the former Vice Chair of the Intellectual Property Department and former leader of the Intellectual Property Litigation Group, represents both plaintiffs and defendants in cases involving patent, trademark, and copyright infringement; the breakdown of strategic acquisitions, licensing agreements, and other business relationships; the theft of trade secrets; and unfair competition. He is regularly recognized by industry publications, including Managing Intellectual Property, IAM Patent 1000, World Trademark Review 1000, The Best Lawyers in America, and Chambers USA.

Ms. Oberlander provides counsel to companies that employ journalists, editors, authors, filmmakers, and other creative professionals in legal challenges to the broadcast, distribution, and publication of their work—“Lynn is one of the best First Amendment attorneys out there,” one client wrote. Having served media companies in-house for almost 25 years, Ms. Oberlander has broad experience in all content-related matters, ranging from investigative journalism to celebrity coverage to access. She regularly advises on prepublication and copyright issues and she has deep experience in the corporate and contractual issues that arise in the media industry—including those concerning intellectual property, talent, podcasting, sponsorship, and distribution.
