Ballard Spahr's J. Matt Thornton Joins Board of Cleo Parker Robinson Dance

J. Matt Thornton, a Litigation associate in the Denver office of Ballard Spahr, has been named to the advisory board of critically acclaimed studio Cleo Parker Robinson Dance.

Mr. Thornton will serve a three-year term. His practice focuses on commercial litigation in federal and state courts, including individual actions and class action defense, privacy and cybersecurity matters, product liability and mass tort, and disputes implicating the First Amendment.

Cleo Parker Robinson Dance has been a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization since 1974 and is located in the historic Shorter Community African Methodist Episcopal Church in Denver’s Five Points neighborhood. Through programming centered around dance, theater, and education, it aims to “leverages the universal language of dance to honor African American heritage.”
