NLRB Extends Public Input Deadline on Union Election Rule

Law360 spoke to Steven Suflas of Ballard Spahr’s Labor and Employment Group for an article about a decision by the National Labor Relations Board to extend the deadline for the public comment on whether it should scrap the “ambush election rule,” which updated the process for union representation elections.

“Because everyone expects that the new Trump board is going to substantially scale back on the [rules], I think they are trying to deflect additional criticism by people saying they are moving too quickly,” Mr. Suflas said.
