Elizabeth G. Morgan

She manages teams responsible for business operations, practice administration, financial management, talent growth and integration, information technology, innovation initiatives, risk management, marketing and business development, human resources, and office operations.

With more than two decades of experience at Ballard Spahr, Beth exemplifies the firm’s commitment to excellence. Before assuming her current role, she served as Chief Practice Management Officer, leading a team of professionals specializing in practice management, economics analysis, and pricing strategies. She also was called on to lead special projects, including serving on the steering committee facilitating the firm’s integration with Lane Powell, a combination that in 2025 brought more than 150 attorneys in three new markets to the firm.

Beth served as Director of Practice Management for the firm’s national Litigation Department. In that capacity, she was responsible for managing the department's financial health, internal organization, business development initiatives, lateral integration, and professional development. She began her career at Ballard Spahr as a business development professional, working with both transactional and litigation practices, a foundation that established her broad understanding of law firm operations.
