Kimberly R. Watkins is a commercial real estate attorney whose practice focuses on development and transactional real estate matters. She represents real estate owners, investors, and developers in a wide range of commercial real estate transactions.
Kimberly's experience includes managing and facilitating real estate due diligence and closings, and drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, easements, and related transaction documents. She regularly works with clients throughout all stages of complex commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and development matters involving office, retail, industrial, multifamily, and mixed-use properties.

- Represented timberland owner in restructuring transferring thousands of acres of land extensive real estate holdings, including analysis of consent, assignment, and recording requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Represents a third-party administrator for Community Care Expansion (CCE) Program, advising on the administration of funds for the acquisition, construction, and rehabilitation of adult and senior care facilities.
- Represents a national REIT in multi-site, multi-state acquisitions of single-tenant retail and distribution assets, including related leaseback agreements

Pro Bono Experience
- Represented a local LGBTQ+ nonprofit organization with acquisition, leasing, and tax exemption work as they grow to provide support groups, programs, and therapy for LGBTQ+ youth and their families.
- Represents a veterans non-profit organization in a current land access matter to develop land to provide disabled veterans opportunities to enjoy extreme sports previously unavailable to them due to injury.
