Eric K. Temmel is a corporate transactional associate who advises clients on a wide range of health care law issues, including scope of practice, HIPAA compliance, Stark law, anti-kickback, reimbursement, Joint Commission standards, advance directives, state licensure, and peer review. He drafts and reviews agreements regarding acquisitions, integration, health information, professional services, and provider reimbursement. Eric also counsels medical providers regarding government investigations, audit protocols, and reimbursement disputes.
While in law school, Eric interned with the University of Pennsylvania Health System and Geisinger Health System. He also obtained a master's degree in Bioethics and chaired the University of Pennsylvania Law School's Health Law and Policy Project.
