Zachary Stevenson is an Atlanta Intellectual Property associate who focuses his practice on patent matters. Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, Zach worked at an Atlanta-based IP law firm where he managed patent portfolios throughout their entire lifecycles. This included conducting invention disclosure meetings, drafting and filing new patent applications, and preparing responses to office actions and ex parte appeals.
Zach also gained experience as a patent attorney at Georgia Lawyers for the Arts, where he independently assisted first-time, under-resourced inventors obtain patent drafting on a pro bono basis. Before he attended law school, Zach worked as a software developer in Orlando, Florida.
