Garrett S. Shaikh is an associate in the Finance Department, who focuses his practice on public finance and infrastructure matters. Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, Garrett worked at a Chambers-ranked law firm where he represented state and local governments, state agencies, broker/dealers, and other organizations in the issuance of various types of debt obligations. In this role, he assisted lead attorneys as bond counsel, tax counsel, underwriter’s counsel, disclosure counsel, lender’s counsel, and borrower’s counsel.
While attending law school, Garrett gained additional experience as a summer associate and as a law clerk, where he assisted attorneys across a broad spectrum of practice areas in various aspects of the law.
