Randi Shaffer is a Real Estate Department associate who focuses her practice on real estate transactions and investments. Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, Randi worked at a Bellevue, Washington-based law firm, where she represented public and private clients in property and real estate transactions, including development, land use, municipal law, regulatory compliance, negotiation, contract drafting, title and lease reviews, and closings. She also conducted due diligence and feasibility analysis for commercial acquisitions.
In this role, Randi also served as an Assistant City Attorney for multiple cities. She provided city councils and staff guidance on governance, land use, zoning, code enforcement, public records compliance, and legislative authority.
Before graduating law school, Randi gained additional experience as a paralegal.
