Eric Sable is a trademark and copyrights associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property Department, specializing in domestic and international trademark clearance, counseling, prosecution, and enforcement. He advises large multinational companies and helps manage extensive client trademark portfolios, oversees IP strategy, obtains new registrations, and leads enforcement and anti-counterfeiting initiatives. His enforcement work includes opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB), as well as online takedowns, and claims under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Eric has substantial experience drafting and negotiating trademark consent, coexistence, settlement, and licensing agreements. He also conducts buyer- and seller-side intellectual property due diligence in mergers and acquisitions, including assessing and resolving complicated chain-of-title issues in the United States and abroad. Additionally, Eric drafts and negotiates a wide range of production-related agreements for clients in the entertainment industry.
