Barbara Rummel is a member of Ballard Spahr's Elected Board. For more than 25 years, she has counseled boards of directors, executive officers, and owners of public and privately held businesses in making critical business decisions involving strategic objectives, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, governance, initial public offerings, and securities issues.
Barb has completed numerous M&A transactions involving public and privately held businesses, with deals ranging in size from under $10 million to more than $1 billion. Her experience covers a range of industries, with a particular emphasis on the life sciences, including medical device, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology companies. She has recently completed acquisition transactions in the water solutions and financial services industries.
Barb's community involvement includes assisting FINNEGANS for more than a decade to advance its social enterprise, including the recent development and financing to construct the FINNEGANS House project in Downtown East Minneapolis.
