Jonathan Rowe is an experienced Intellectual Property attorney who focuses his practice on patents-related matters. His work includes preparing and prosecuting U.S. and international utility and design patent applications. In addition to drafting applications and corresponding with the Patent Office to achieve favorable patents for clients, his work has included reviewing international search reports, preparing appeal briefs and opinions, and preparing instructions for foreign patent applications.
Jonathan works regularly in a wide range of technological areas in his patent work. These technologies include invasive and external urinary catheters, ureteral and vascular stents, thrombectomy devices, bone implants, dental devices, intravascular delivery devices, diagnostic devices, cardiovascular devices, bandages, polycrystalline diamond cutting elements and bearings, mining equipment and processes, engine systems, chemical compositions and processes, composite materials, food and beverage compositions, packaging apparatuses and systems, cryogenic storage systems, pump and filter systems and processes, and consumer products.
While attending law school, Jonathan worked as a student patent agent at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law Patent Clinic. Following his graduation, he became an adjunct professor, where he instructed students on patent drafting, prior art analysis, and other aspects of patent preparation and prosecution in a comprehensive patent practice and drafting course.
