Rhea Prabhu is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property Department who focuses her practice on IP litigation. Prior to joining full-time, Rhea was a summer associate at Ballard Spahr, where she researched patent misuse, royalty, and antitrust issues to help advise clients in the pharmaceutical industry. She also drafted claim amendments in response to foreign office actions for a gene therapy treatment patent application.
Rhea gained additional experience as a patents legal intern in the Oncology Department at a pharmaceutical and biotechnology company, a Philadelphia diversity law group fellow at a Chambers-ranked law firm, and a legal research and writing teaching assistant.
Before beginning her legal career, Rhea worked for the biopharma division of a global equipment manufacturer, as well as at a 3D bioprinting startup.
