Grant Mantell is a Real Estate associate who focuses his practice on real estate transactions and investments. Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, he worked in the Phoenix office of a full service business law firm, where he collaborated with a team of attorneys on the more than $11 billion financing of the largest clean energy infrastructure project in United States history. He also led transactions, assisted in the disposition of multiple properties, and drafted various legal documents in this position.
During law school, Grant worked as a summer associate at this firm and completed projects in multiple areas of law, including employment law, corporate and securities, real estate, employee benefits, and commercial litigation. He gained additional experience as an extern at an employment law firm and at the United States District Court for the District of Arizona.

- Represented national REIT client in acquisition of three retail stores located in Arizona and New Mexico for $4.5 million and the creation and negotiation of a Master Lease of the sites back to the Seller/Tenant. Including negotiation of a Shopping Center REA, waivers of rights of first refusal, and a partial sale/taking by the AZ Department of Transportation on a small portion of one site.
