Matthew J. Littlefield is a member of the Electrical and Software practice team in Ballard Spahr’s Patents Group. Since joining the team in 2018, he has concentrated on all aspects of patent prosecution—drafting applications, preparing responses to office actions, and overseeing foreign filings. Having been with the firm for more than a decade, Matt previously served as Ballard Spahr’s IP Patent Process Manager, supervising the IP Docketing Department, the Information Disclosure Statement Team, and the Annuities Team. In that capacity, he directed staff in optimizing and maintaining the docket database to ensure data integrity and seamless integration with firm-wide systems.
