Brooke Harms is an associate in the firm’s Business and Transactions Department, focusing her practice on mergers and acquisitions. She assists business owners with operational issues, management succession, and restructuring. She also acts as outside general counsel to clients, working directly with business leaders to meet a variety of transactional needs, and provides advice on various matters including formation, shareholder agreements, and internal corporate structuring.

Brooke graduated from law school with a concentration in Intellectual Property and previously served as both a commercialization analyst and a contracts analyst in a university tech transfer office. She was responsible for screening new technologies for patenting, commercialization, and marketing as well as preparing licensing, non-disclosure, and other agreements between the university and other institutions.
