Evan Habib

Evan Habib is an associate in the firm’s national Finance Department who focuses his practice on housing and real estate finance matters. Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, Evan was the head of the Federal Title & Escrow Company’s Commercial Division, where he served as the sole point of contact, escrow agent, and title examiner for numerous private transactions and more than $750 million in commercial real estate transactions with the U.S. government. In this role, he worked closely with real estate brokers, lenders, and individual and corporate clients to manage commercial and residential deals from contract drafting through closing.

Evan gained additional experience as a paralegal at a Chambers-ranked law firm, where he was part of a specialized, full-service commercial aircraft transactions practice group and served as the primary point of contact for partners, clients, outside counsel, commercial and investment banks, and insurance companies.
