Alexander Gee is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property Department. With a background in electrical engineering, Alexander focuses his practice on patent prosecution matters, especially in software and hardware, data analytics tools, artificial intelligence, Fintech, telecommunications, and medical devices. In addition, he co-leads Ballard Spahr's Black Lawyers Group. Alexander has extensive experience working with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as a former primary patent examiner.
Prior to his legal career, Alexander worked as a systems engineer for a large aerospace and defense technology company where he facilitated the research and development, and the testing of critical spacecraft components.
