
Emily Gallin is a Finance attorney who focuses her practice on public finance matters. She has represented clients as bond counsel, borrower’s counsel, and underwriter’s counsel on tax-exempt and taxable financings of projects.
Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, Emily worked at a boutique Maryland-based law firm, where she had experience representing governments and not-for-profit entities with a variety of projects, such as financings of hospitals, schools, continuing care facilities, parks, recreational, transportation, and wastewater facilities. Her recent practice area included a focus on federal tax laws and regulations involving tax-exempt bonds.
While attending law school, Emily gained additional experience as a law clerk in the Consumer Protection Division of the Maryland Office of the Attorney General, a legal intern for Come Home Baltimore, and a legal assistant for a consumer protection focused trial attorney in New Jersey.
