Scott Crumley has nearly 20 years of experience in real estate transactional work with a particular focus on leasing matters, including sale-leaseback representations to various clients. He represents clients on local and national real estate projects, on both the owner/developer and end-user side and is particularly attuned to the practical business issues in a transaction after having spent over a decade of his real estate career working with clients as a real estate broker. Scott also negotiates construction and design contracts on behalf of a variety of clients.

Prior to his role at Ballard Spahr, Scott served as General Counsel/Chief Operating Officer at a Delaware Valley-based commercial real estate brokerage firm.

  • Represented national REIT client in acquisition of eight pharmacies and one distribution center located in NJ, AL, KS, OH, MI, WI, MS, and KY for $32.7 million, along with the creation and negotiation of a Lease of each site back to the Seller/Tenant. Included franchise component with seller/tenant as well.
  • Represents prominent national life sciences developer in negotiation of office and lab leases throughout its US portfolio.
  • Represents international education publishing and assessment service firm in real estate matters throughout the US, including new leases, subleases, acquisitions, dispositions of owned properties.
