Timothy J. Cooney is an associate in the firm’s Real Estate Department whose practice centers on affordable housing and community development matters. As a former summer associate at Ballard Spahr, T.J. analyzed real estate development contracts involving low-income housing tax credits, and composed drafts of financing agreements for lenders.
T.J. gained judicial experience as a judicial intern for the Honorable Robert B. Kugler in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, where he drafted opinions on motions for summary judgment and attended various court proceedings.
