Krystal Bordoni-Cowley is a Real Estate associate who focuses her practice on real estate transactions and investments matters.

Krystal has extensive experience advising Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), private equity funds, institutional lenders, developers, and energy companies across all sides of a transaction. Her background spans multiple asset classes, including medical offices, mixed-use properties, hospitality franchises, condominiums, and renewable energy infrastructure.

Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, Krystal was a real estate associate at a Chambers-ranked law firm, where she led and advised on large-scale real estate due diligence, complex leasing management for multibillion-dollar portfolios, land use matters, and construction loan financing. She has also served as local real estate counsel on high value energy matters, including major natural gas acquisitions and solar project developments. Recognized for her leadership in the legal community, she was selected as a 2026 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellow and regularly speaks at industry events. Krystal also maintains a robust pro bono practice and is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
