Samantha Bloom is a Business and Transactions Department attorney who focuses her practice on immigration matters. She is an experienced business immigration attorney who has dedicated her career to helping companies and professionals navigate the complexities of U.S. immigration law. Sami specializes in securing work visas and employment-based green cards for a wide range of clients, from multinational corporations to startup organizations.

Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, she worked at a Chambers-ranked law firm, where she strategized, drafted, analyzed, and reviewed both non-immigrant and immigrant visa applications. In this role, Sami specialized in the Program Electronic Review Management (PERM) labor certification process, as well as gained extensive experience in the following:

  • H, L, TN, and E visa types
  • Employment-based immigrant visas, including EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3
  • Responding to Requests for Evidence, Notices of Intent to Deny, and Denial Requests for Reconsideration

Sami has successfully guided executives, researchers, and skilled workers through the legal processes that enable them to contribute their talents to the American economy. While attending law school, Sami gained additional experience through immigration co-ops in Boston at both nonprofit organizations and traditional firms.
