Haskel Black is an associate who focuses his practice on real estate transactions and investments. While attending law school, Haskel served as a student attorney in the inaugural year of the Estate Planning and Heirs’ Property Clinic at Howard University School of Law where he gained hands-on experience managing a diverse portfolio of clients—handling matters from untangling clouded property titles to drafting estate planning documents. In law school, he also worked as a Henry Ramsey Dean’s Fellow, teaching and supporting first-year students in developing their legal writing skills. Haskel was a summer associate at Ballard Spahr, where he conducted legal research and assisted with drafting and reviewing documents on a variety of matters.
Prior to beginning his legal career, Haskel was a vocal and general music teacher. Additionally, he spent a year in Germany as a U.S. Department of State-sponsored fellow in the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals (CBYX), serving as a cultural and professional ambassador of the United States.
