Michele L. Bax represents cities, counties, and towns; development authorities; school districts; and other special issuers in all areas of public finance. She serves as counsel for bonds, notes, special taxes, underwriters, issuers, and trustees in connection with revenue and tax-exempt general obligation bonds.

Michele represents clients such as educational and health care institutions, municipalities, and financial institutions throughout Arizona and the Southwest. She acts as underwriters' and bond counsel for charter school financings. Michele also represents banks in the purchase of both taxable and tax-exempt bonds.

  • Served as bond counsel in connection with the Industrial Development Authority of the County of Maricopa Hospital Revenue Bonds (HonorHealth), Series 2019A, Series 2019B and Series 2019C
  • Served as bond counsel in connection with the Arizona Board of Regents, acting for and on behalf of Arizona State University, for Revenue Bonds, Series 2020A, Series 2020B and 2020C
  • Served as bond counsel in connection with the University Student Athletic Facilities LLC Lease Revenue Bonds (Northern Arizona University Project) Series 2020
