Mary Jo George Joins Entryway National Board of Directors

Mary Jo George, a Ballard Spahr Housing Finance partner who co-leads the firm’s Housing Industry Team, has joined the National Board of Directors of Entryway, a nonprofit that partners with the real estate industry to address situational homelessness.
A national 501(c)3 organization, Entryway transitions individuals and families at risk of or experiencing homelessness to economic self-sufficiency by providing career training, full-time employment, and housing opportunities in partnership with organizations and individuals in the real estate industry. Mary Jo previously served on Entryway’s National Capital Region City Advisory Board.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Mary Jo to the National Board,” Entryway President and CEO David Williams said in an announcement. “Her deep understanding of housing finance and her long-standing commitment to expanding access to stable, affordable housing strengthen our vision for national growth and impact.”
At Ballard Spahr, Mary Jo concentrates primarily on multifamily and senior facility real estate finance transactions, with a focus on FHA insurance, Ginnie Mae mortgage-backed securities, and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac conventional and bond credit enhancement programs.
