Ballard Spahr’s new Seattle office won the Office Interior of the Year People’s Choice Award at the 2025 NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association Washington State Chapter’s (NAIOPWA) Night of the Stars event.
The Seattle office occupies 50,000 square feet across 2.5 floors of the 42-story Russell Investments Center. Facing Elliott Bay and the Olympic Mountains, it boasts premier gathering spaces and features a world-class conference center with panoramic views of Puget Sound. NBBJ served as the architect, with DPR Construction as the contractor and Westlake Consulting Group as the project manager. Real Estate and Construction Litigation Partner Andrew J. Gabel led the project on Ballard Spahr’s behalf.
“When we were thinking of how we would like our new Seattle space to look and feel, we wanted a thoughtful design that would help our attorneys and business professionals collaborate and do their best work,” Seattle Office Managing Partner Paige L. Davis said. “Our new home exceeds those expectations and then some. We could not be more pleased with how this space supports us in working together and providing even better service to our clients.”
Ballard Spahr combined with Lane Powell in January 2025, expanding the firm’s national reach to include offices in Anchorage, Portland, and Seattle and deepening its bench to 750 attorneys.
“Growth in Seattle is a strategic priority for our firm, and this new space puts us in an even stronger position to further expand our services, fortify our capabilities, and bolster our client relationships,” firm Chair Peter Michaud said. “This award underscores what an asset our Seattle office is to our firm as a whole.”
