Kalli Ostermiller, a current student at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law and a Ballard Spahr summer associate, has won the 2025 Reva Beck Bosone Award from Women Lawyers of Utah.
Kalli was selected in part for her leadership at the S.J. Quinney College of Law, where she serves as vice president of the Student Bar Association and had organized the school’s first Wellness Week. In her acceptance essay for the award, Kalli wrote about the need for all lawyers to “make others feel seen, empowered, and unafraid to shine.”
Women Lawyers of Utah advocates for the advancement and retention of women lawyers in the state and for the interests of women generally. The award is named after Reva Beck Bosone, Utah's first woman judge and first woman elected to Congress from Utah.
Kalli was a summer associate with Ballard Spahr in 2025 and has accepted an offer to return as a summer associate again in 2026.
“One of the things I love most about working at Ballard Spahr is the people—I am surrounded by incredible attorneys who are very generous with their mentorship,” Kalli said. “I deeply value the mentorship I’ve received from attorneys across the firm, including many exceptional women whose example has been especially meaningful in my development as a young lawyer.”
