For his latest Daily Record "Regional Perspectives" column, Joe Nathanson covered a recent online meeting of Transit Choices, the Baltimore-area transportation advocacy group, featuring Jon M. Laria, real estate special counsel at Ballard Spahr and former longtime Office Managing Partner of the firm's Baltimore office. Jon serves as Chair of the Baltimore Regional Transit Commission, established in 2023 to oversee the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) and shine a spotlight on the region's public transportation needs. They're joined by Elizabeth Gordon, assistant deputy administrator for planning and programming at the MTA.
