An Update on the Ongoing Lawsuit on the Mass Firings at the CFPB

Richard Andreano, Jr., Practice Leader of Ballard Spahr's Mortgage Banking Group, was interviewed on The Federal Drive With Terry Gerton about recent mass firings at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and how the lawsuit has been affected by the current government shutdown.

"Do they draw a line at some point, saying, you know, at a certain point you're reducing the staffing so much that the agency can't possibly function, and we're not going to allow that?" Rich said. "So, it's really about how much deference they give to the president here. And I think that's going to be important."
