Which Companies Filed the Most 2024 Trademark Applications?

When a reporter for the Minnesota Star Tribune wanted to look into the companies that had filed the most trademark applications in 2024, he spoke to Jodi A. DeSchane about the value of trademarks and why they make good business sense for companies.

“One of the important benefits [of a trademark] is that it helps brand owners enforce rights against infringers because a federal registration can be used in court as evidence of exclusive nationwide rights,” she said.
