Ballard Spahr Represents Nonprofit Fundraising Consulting Firm in Private Equity Infusion

Lawyers from Ballard Spahr’s Mergers and Acquisitions Group represented Plus Delta Partners (PDP), a leading provider of fundraising training and tools for nonprofit organizations, in a capital investment from Northlane Capital Partners (NCP), a middle-market private equity firm focused on the health care and business services sectors.

In a transaction announced this week, NCP invested alongside PDP’s management team and its founder, Guy Hart, to further solidify “PDP’s leadership in the fundraising solutions space.”

Based in Carlsbad, California, PDP provides specialized fundraising training and tools for higher education institutions, health care organizations, and other nonprofits. The company offers a comprehensive suite of fundraising training solutions tailored to frontline fundraisers and other key stakeholders across all stages of the fundraising lifecycle.

Based in Bethesda, Maryland, NCP focuses on key segments within the health care and business services sectors, where its principals have invested approximately $1.8 billion of equity capital.

The Ballard Spahr M&A team that represented PDP in the transaction was led by Partner Ryan J. Udell and included Adam J. Chelminiak, Kelly M. Silveira, and John J. Eagan.
