Finance Attorney Ronald Millet Joins Ballard Spahr's National Finance Department in New York

Ronald Millet—a finance attorney with broad experience and a focus in real estate finance and public finance—has joined the national Finance Department of Ballard Spahr, firm Chair Mark Stewart announced today. He will be resident in the firm’s New York office.
Mr. Millet has experience drafting and negotiating a variety of loan documentation, collaborating with credit risk management, and working with various stakeholders to develop and implement policies. His transactional work has primarily involved real estate lending, as well as public finance bond financings and credit/liquidity facilities. Mr. Millet also has experience in corporate and project finance transactions, rail transportation financings, and letter of credit facilities for insurance companies. During his time as in-house counsel, Mr. Millet negotiated vendor contracts and advised on various regulatory matters including outsourcing guidelines, cybersecurity, and data privacy rules.
Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, Mr. Millet was a Senior Legal Counsel at Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen Girozentrale, New York Branch (Helaba). Before that, he was an Associate General Counsel at Financial Security Assurance, Inc., and an attorney at several law firms with national public finance practices.
