The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) has been gradually increasing enforcement activity throughout 2019. With a full year under Kathy Kraninger’s belt, the recent appointment of Bryan Schneider as the Head of the Supervision, Enforcement and Fair Lending Division (SEFL), and the expected appointment of a new Enforcement Director, the CFPB will ramp up investigations and enforcement actions in 2020. In this webinar, we will discuss recent enforcement-related developments at the CFPB and look ahead to the Bureau’s potential areas of focus. Topics include:

  • Trends in recent enforcement investigations and actions, including a focus on redlining by non-bank mortgage lenders
