Recent high-profile events have reinforced the significant issues companies face when conducting internal investigations. This in-person CLE program will provide participants with an overview of best practices for conducting internal investigations, including the various circumstances under which an internal investigation should be conducted, the appropriate procedures that should be employed when conducting an internal investigation, and how an internal investigation can be used to identify risks and remedy potential problems. Our panel of speakers will include the former U.S. Attorney for the District of Arizona, as well as three former Assistant U.S. Attorneys. Other topics will include:

  • Interview procedures 
  • Risks and ethical dilemmas 
  • Management of stakeholders 
  • Preparation of final reports
